film and photo locations

New Zealand's magnificent scenery has served as a backdrop to a series of international films over the past years, from wind-swept Oreti Beach in “The World's Fastest Indian” through to the “Misty Mountains” of Peter Jackson’s award-winning Lord of the Rings Trilogy. In Coromandel Peninsula for example, a Los Angeles film company shot scenes of “Prince Caspian” in the seaside township of Hahei, just north of Whangamata.

Our locations

The range of scenery in New Zealand is unique. With our exclusive and private property, farmhouse, cottage, white beach, forest and grassy areas in the beautiful area Coromandel we provide a variety of different locations. All are private and inaccessible for public. Each location has their own unique attributes, which make them desirable for a photographic shoot, product launch or corporate event.

The seasons in New Zealand are the reverse of the Northern Hemisphere. The weather throughout New Zealand tends to be oceanic and temperate with warm summers (December until February) and mild winters (June until August). There is moderate rainfall in most areas all year round. Winter snow in the North Island is usually just restricted on the volcanic peaks.
