Welcome to our guest experiences page. This is a guide to help curate your stay. The vendors listed below all work closely with Hillbrook Estate, they will do their best to ensure your experience is something special. It is essential to book as far in advance as possible.

PLAY

There is so much to do at Hillbrook, from exploring the beach to walking around the farm. If you are looking for even more fun, we are happy to assist in arranging additional activities for your stay. Here’s some ideas to get you started:

Surf, Kayak, Stand-Up-Paddle Boarding

A great place to hire gear or do a tour of the famous Whenuakura Island.

Mountain Bike Park

Whangamata Mountain Bike Park is only 5 minutes from Hillbrook Farm. The park offers something for everyone, from the first-time rider to experts looking to be challenged.

Golf 

Whangamata Golf Course is only 10 mins drive away and offers the picturesque 18-hole Titoki course located on the outskirts of Whangamata or the 9-hole Williamson course in the heart of the town.

Lawn Games

Hillbrook lawn games are available our guests, 3 types of games. KUBB and Corn hole and Molkky. Please let our on site managers know if you wish to use these during your stay.
*These are included if you have booked a wedding package. 

Air-soft Battle in the Woods 

Like Paintball? You need to try Airsoft. Hillbrook has 8 fully-automatic BB assault rifles for a game of war-in-the-woods.
Edgar, our property manager, will guide you and set up the games. The game is much like paintball but even more fun. 
We offer this activity as a 1.5 hour trip for 4 to 8 people. $100 a person. 
Safety goggles and tour guide included. 

Fishing, Diving, Island tours

Fish On Charters specialise in group charters for Fishing, Game Fishing, Diving, Kayak trips or Island tours. Fish On is a Roger Hill Power Cat 14m in length and 5.2m wide, with a cruising speed of 19 knots providing a stable and comfortable ride.
