The Property

Hillbrook Farm is a 50 hectare working farm and luxury estate set on a secluded peninsula, 10 minutes north of Whangamata. The property is perched above a stunning Coromandel beach and looks out to the Pacific Ocean.

Hillbrook Estate is a working farm with around 200 young dairy calves grazing our grassy paddocks and soaking up the views. Private access to a stunning white sandy Coromandel beach, a 15 minute walk from the main house through an ancient pohutukawa forest. The beach is has a surf break and is great for fishing.

Luxury Private Home

Accommodation at Hillbrook Estate is centered around the luxurious Main House - a grand 7-bedroom homestead in the style of a Scottish mansion.

Adjoining the main house are two beautifully appointed self-contained executive suites, known as "The Stables". These suites have been renovated immaculately and can provide just that little more privacy apart from the Main House.

Hillbrook Estate sleeps a maximum of 20 guests.

Smaller Stable. Executive self-contained suite - 1 Bedroom Studio room with queen bed, and king single trundle bed on mezzanine floor. Private ensuite and kitchenette at ground level. Suitable for 2 adults and 2 children. .

Helipad & Runway

Hillbrook features a Helipad near the Main House, should you wish to arrive or depart via helicopter. The helicopter hanger adjacent to the landing pad can be used to store your helicopter if you are looking to stay for an extended period.

The farm also features a 500m grass landing field for fixed-wing aircraft.

We allow up to 30 guests maximum for a dinner/event hosted in the house (for 30+ guests visit our wedding page).
For over 20 guests there is an extra charge for events.
Inside we can comfortably seat 26 guests.
We can comfortably have up to 30 guests for a canape style dinner inside. (Not all seated)
Outside we can seat 15 guests at our outdoor table. This is weather dependent, as it is not covered.
Guests may use outside seating outdoor & indoor seating. With half of the guests seating inside and half outside. (Weather dependant)
Inside 2 x tables in the main dining area size: 76cm (H), 260cm (L), 90cm (W). These tables are set up so it’s a square (12 chairs total around it)
These 2 x main tables can be moved end to end so it is longer & has 18 chairs around it. The 18 chairs are all the same style.
Or the main tables can separate the ends allowing 2 extra guests on bench seats. Making a total of 20 guests seated at these 2 main tables.
Maximum total of 20 guests inside can be seated in dining room tables + 6 seated at the small kitchen table.
We provide essentials. Such as wine glasses (Clear & Amber coloured glass), water glasses, champagne glasses, dinner plates and cutlery for 30 guests.
If you want napkins, tablecloths, special glassware etc you will need to hire those.
Additional cleaning fees apply if Hillbrook glassware, plates and cutlery are not cleaned. Most catering companies we work with can provide plates, linen napkins, cutlery and glassware for hire, which will be cleaned and removed from the premises for you. If you prefer that option.
